Yesterday, Laura continued to be a little sluggish and her temperature spiked to 102.7 in the late afternoon. I suggested she call Hopkins and get their opinion since this was 2.5 degrees higher then when she saw the doctor. No surprises there - Hopkins said that Darlene was doing all the right things.
During the night Darlene checked on Laura every few hours and we are grateful that her temperature has returned to the normal range.
