Laura's temperature has returned to normal and her sore throat has disappeared.  We are learning more about this disease and its challenges by the experiences we go through.  The 3 days of elevated temperatures really drained her of some of her strength which she is still working to restore to pre-illness levels.

 On Sunday we celebrated the one year anniversary of Laura's bone marrow transplant. And by the grace of God and the excellant care and nursing skills of Darlene, there have been no complications during her recovery.  In recognition of this memorable event, we celebrated at Ms. Shirley's on West Cold Spring Lane with a sunday brunch.  Emily (the donor) and Tim (Laura's brother) with his girlfriend Sarah were able to join us.
