I talk about Laura a lot and how we manage our lives in the misdst of this disease. I don't share enough about our other children (Tim, 26 yrs old, Emily, 21 yrs old).Darlene and Emily get together every week for either a trip to local coffee shop, lunch or dinner. It's a great time for them to catch up.
Emily is becoming quite an inspiring young lady. She regularly spends time with Laura and is always willing to help. Just yesterday she accompanied Darlene and Laura on a 3 hour appointment at Kennedy Kreiger. Darlene frequently comments that the support and manual assistance she receives from Emily is invaluable. Tim just returned from a lovely week he spent in Italy with his girlfriend who's taking a college mini-semester course there. As most proud parents do, I want to show you my recent
