Some days are tiring; and some days are refreshing. And sometimes a day is both refreshing and tiring - like yesterday. My brother Jon has a catamaran off the West River south of Annapolis and yesterday we went sailing. I was awake at 5:30 in the morning because of severe thunderstorms passing thru Towson. We woke Laura up at 7:00, 2 1/2 hours before her normal start time, and left the house by 8:00 even though it was still raining heavily. The strom were breaking up as we traveled south and upon arriving at Hartge Yacht Club the sun was out.
During the sail, weather was mild and sunny most of the time, winds were fair, and we all had a great time. Thanks Jon for a great and memorable day - Laura is still talking about how much fun she had.
